Direct replacement for my existing 18 year old condensate pump that's used for my high efficiency furnace. Install took 20 min. New unit is very quiet and pumps quickly.

I bought this pump because the original, which was installed with my gas furnace 20 years ago, was failing intermittently, causing flooding. I did not want to mess around trying to repair the old one and perhaps getting more flooding. This new pump is identical to the old one, same part number. But it is made in Mexico instead of the USA and the labels are crooked, indicating sloppy assembly. Works fine out of the box. Let's see if it lasts 20 years like the original. Another 20 years is beyond my expected lifetime, but if this pump fails before I do, I'll be sure to knock it back to one star and let everyone know.ADDENDUM: People have asked if this model has a high-water level switch. No, that's on a higher model. But I have added a Flood Alarm, which I now have here and at my sump and sewage pumps.
