A really high quality camping tarp, like those custom made of 20d silpoly, can easily sell for over $200. I know this because I purchased one years ago for some ultralight camping. And after doing some searching I'm finding this 210D Oxford cloth nylon for about $5/yard, or about half the cost of 20D silpoly, and yet this camping tarp is only $40? That is crazy, as even buying the 210D fabric in a 100 yard roll, I would have to use $45 worth of fabric just to make this camping tarp. And if most of the specialty camping tarp companies are charging $100 +/- for labor... That makes this AwnPror camping tarp an incredible steal.I've read that the 210D fabric is exceptionally durable, which makes it ideal for outdoor use and exactly what I was looking for in this case. Be aware that this is -not- a lightweight fabric, that would be the 20D polysil, but rather a heavyweight and robust fabric designed for the rough and tumble. As far as the sewing and construction, that all matches the material, it has good reinforcement at the attachment points and clean thorough stitching. It also comes with a sort of duffel bag and a tie bag for the stakes.Considering that I couldn't even get the materials to make a camping tarp like this for the price that it is being sold at, I consider this an INCREDIBLE value. I'd say if you are even considering getting this, grab it before they're sold out or they raise the price. It is an excellent heavy-weight camping tarp.

First impression is very good. Excellent looking gold fabric looks very durable and heavier than the advertised 210 denier polyester. Probably because of the thick inner layer. Stitching is double all the way around and heavy duty additional stitching where straps are connected. The center straps include a steel plate for attaching a pole, making it extra durable where tension would be the greatest. This tarp is well supplied with 8 tie down straps, and unlike many tarps there are guy lines and stakes included for each of them, and they are good quality. Each guy line is about 12 feet. The stakes are steel with plastic hooks.Good quality and good value.

I couldn’t be happier with this 10x13ft hammock rain fly! The quality is top-notch from start to finish. The material is thick and waterproof, holding up great even during heavy rain and higher winds. The grommets are especially impressive—super sturdy and haven’t shown any signs of ripping or wear.It comes with solid ropes, durable stakes, and a really convenient carrying bag that makes setup and storage a breeze. I use it mainly over my hammock, and it completely blocks out the sun and heat, making my lounging time feel cool, calm, and peaceful. This awning gives me the perfect shaded escape outdoors. Whether I'm camping or just relaxing in the backyard, it does exactly what I need. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality rain fly or camping tarp!

This is a great tarp for many reasons. First off, it is very lightweight and easy to work with. The tarp itself weighs only 2.6 lbs, is waterproof, and has a slick feel to it so water will slide right off. The stakes and ropes weigh 1.13 lbs, and the carry bag weighs .2 lbs. Total is 3.93 lbs. It fits nicely into the oversized carry bag, which I appreciate since many other camping items with carry bags barely fit into them. There are only two heavy duty stainless steel triangular grommets on the tarp located on the center ridgeline of the tarp. As you can see in the photos, these special grommets are sewn into reinforced nylon tabs so they cannot pull out. The other places for rope attachments are in the four corners of the tarp and in the center of each long side on the edges. They are nylon loops, also sewn into reinforced nylon tabs on the tarp. This is far better than grommets that just pull out in wind or when under any kind of stress. The tarp is lined with a dark, waterproof undercoating which will also block out sunlight. This is important if you are using it to protect you from the weather while sleeping in a hammock. The eight stakes are heavy duty steel, and look like giant nails with heavy duty molded plastic ends on which to tie the guylines. This is important because if you only have two trees on which to hang your hammock and tarp, the corners must be staked down to the ground. So, you have the options to use ropes tied to a tree or to use the stakes in the ground. One thing to note: My set did not come with the metal butterfly rope adjusters as shown on the website photos, Just a very long length of nylon rope and the stakes.I highly recommend this tarp as a lightweight alternative to other kinds of tarps, picnic blankets, tent flies, or other waterproof covering needs.
