This vinyl(PVC) tarp is well made, has a small rope all the way around the edges, embedded in the seam, grommets .6 inches spaced about 20 inches apart. This tarp is not as heavy as some I have obtained in the past,, which is good, as I didn't need a really heavy weight one for my smaller project in the garden (covering my raised planter, getting a tarp to just fit without 2 feet of overhang waste) Description did not give a guage, but when looking at the weight of 1.23 lbs I knew it was much thinner than the ones that weigh 10 lbs. Looks like it will hold up to the winds and rains and sun.

I use these for chicken coops like a rain flap. I can pitch it up or clip it down and it keeps rain out. These are also good for blocking the wind on super windy days. This tarp is different from others I've used however. The grommets are reinforced with a heavy plastic section that also envelops the cord in the edge of the tarp. This seems a lot stronger, and the tarp seems a little thicker than others. It isn't completely clear, just a tiny bit of frost look. It came with a ball of some plastic rafia type of stuff I would probably only use to tie temporarily with in a pinch. I think this tarp is a good bet though. Looking forward to see how it will last because I need several of one kind that will take some Texas weather.

It is sturdier than one I've gotten before, but I wouldn't call it heavy duty. It's slightly opaque, so the pictures are deceiving. The grommets are pretty sturdy. Comes with a weak ball of twine. $10 is too much for this quality.

To call this heavy duty is an insult to heavy duty. This is a waste of money, whoever made this did not even try. You can see with pictures, just using my nails I can puncture it. Side by side, on both tarp the grommets are not aligned, you can clearly the unevenness of the cuts on the plastic. In conclusion, this product does not match the description or quality it tries to display.

Great Tarp!! Love that this one is clear. I have a mini coop for my chicks backed up against one of my raised garden beds and when the sprayers go off it hits the coop and I’m afraid over time it will wear out the wood and rot or possibly leak into the roosting area. So I got this and it has been protecting the coop and the best part is that it’s clear so I get to keep the aesthetic of the coop. It is durable and I’m sure even helps any winds being blocked since it covers little cracks. It’s thick so I am happy that it’s a quality tarp!!
