This is a heavy duty tart - I used it for some painting projects and it was adequate for the purpose. I actually didn't realize that the black edging went all the way around the tarp. This seems like a nice upgrade in durability. We didn't use any of the roping, but cool that it came as an accessory.

These tarps have been great and are very sturdy! The border is almost 2 inches thick and really well sewn multiple times with red which gives a cool look to the border, and the grommets are reinforced from both sides so I'm not worried abut these tearing from the grommet holes like all my other blue tarps. I also like that these are a foggy-clear, which will hide dirt and age way better than the perfectly clear ones. I also really like that there's grommets all around the tarp and not just at the corners making it easier to tie to anything really and this came with a bunch of nylon cord for doing just that. I didn't measure the cording, but it looks like quite a bit and of heavy duty quality.

A few furnishings must go in the shed until a deck gets established in the back. An older maroon marble cupboard needed protection from the dust and dander constantly finding its way into the shed. The tarp has a terrific edging/binding, most colorful but robust. Plenty of tarp exists to cover a midrange cupboard well, which will become repurposed for a stellar planting station. The tarp has some thickness with a slight opaqueness to it. It does have a long black string, but it was not needed in this case. Plenty large for a patio couch, table, or chairs outdoors during unseasonable cold or the occasional remnants of a hurricane that blows into North Texas from the South. Once the deck with a roof established, it could become used in cooler weather on a side to protect furnishings on the deck from some short but fierce winds of the plains.

I bought this tarp to cover some lawn chairs that we store underneath the deck and they've held up well. The edges are nicely reinforced, but I feel like the material might be easy to rip if it snags on something's. We used the gussets to secure the tarp.to the ground and fully cover the chairs, so it worked out well, they are nice and waterproof underneath there. Will be using this tarp when we go camping as well. Overall it's a good buy
