Update: Amp suddenly stopped working - no sound from any input or output and no Bluetooth connectivity. Less than 2 weeks old. Unfortunate. But won’t be replacing this. Going to get something more reliable.Impressive amp. Produces clean power and good range of sound. Build quality is excellent and it paired well with my phone. The phono preamp is reasonably clear and smooth for most basic needs (I still like my own preamp Bette rap I used that with the RCA inputs. The built in EQ and tone controls allowed me to tune it the way I want. Not many controls so it’s sleek but the remote is a pain sometimes and doesn’t work well at an angle. Appreciate that it had a subwoofer output and an optical input for my cd player. Built in DAC resolves music accurately. I even used the USB to connect to my computer. Really is a do all amp. Loxjie hit a home run here with a small class D in such a small package. Sounded way better than my old large class A receiver I had previously. And has far more power than the first class D I bought (for less money in its defense).

After owning the highly-touted Loxjie A30 (I loved the A30 so much, I ended up purchasing three of them), Loxjie has hit it out of the park with their new A40. This little guy has everything you could possibly need for a complete audio system: Bluetooth, digital optical in, digital coaxial in, phono in, USB-C in, RCA line in, HDMI/ARC, TWO headphone outs on the front panel (6.35mm and 4.4mm), and a sub-woofer out. This amp also has a good amount of clean power to drive most speakers and is stable down to 4 ohms, with a rated THD+N of 0.003%. The A40 is a bigger than the A30, but it still has a small footprint and low profile and has a more refined appearance. This amp will look and sound great in a desktop/computer setup, but will be just as comfortable and capable in a small to medium-sized living room 2.1 channel setup. The amp comes with a full-function remote, Bluetooth antenna, USB cable, and HDMI cable. After a few weeks of extended listening, I purchased a second one. I use mine with the Klipsch RB-81 MkII speakers. The Loxjie A40 is highly recommended.

I chose this amp because of its compact size. I’m modifying an old “console” stereo and putting new hardware in it. There limited space in the spot where the turntable and amp need to be. I took a chance on this brand, having never heard of it before. Absolutely delighted with the whole thing. Drives the original console speakers very well. The Bluetooth is very quick and consistent. A nice bonus for my vintage console. 5 stars. No hesitation.

Sounds like Yamaha receiver R-N602 ($600). I have several receivers but Yamaha is always best for the money.Loxjie is EQUALLY good. Small in size but heavy like brick. Remote control feels and looks cheap but I can live with that. It has every input you can need. No balanced outputs what is great.

Great quality build, excellent connectivity.Impressive power output, drove some power hungry speakers such as SVS evolution and ELAC SBR62 adequately. The latter speakers pair very nicely and musically with this amp with some minor EQ adjustments that will depend on your listening environment and taste. Male and female vocals, horns, and Rhodes piano are especially nice when played using this combination.I am looking forward to connecting to AV using eARC HDMI, it is a major reason for choosing this unit which was described as being more reliable with auto switching than other products in this class.Bluetooth implementation is excellent but one very small flaw is that the Bluetooth channel will pop very quietly when devices that are connected time-out after several minutes due to there being no active signal. Will be trying these with other speakers in this class, the ELACs seem to sing with this amp.
