I am leaving this review many years later and here's why- recently norovirus hit our house bad (need I say more) and this protector didn't hold up. I was angered but then I realized why. I literally bought it in 2016!!! 2016!! It's been protecting my mattress for nearly 9 yrs! This cover don't owe me a dime! From washing for so many years I truthfully should have realized that the protective coating naturally does wear off but it took nearly a decade! I'm ordering another but for the price it's worth swapping it out much much more often

Funciona 100% es súper útil para evitar desgastar o ensuciar nuestros colchones y esponjas . Y son lavables en máquina

El tamaño es adecuado para colchones muy anchos, en mi caso, mi colchón tiene casi 40 cm de profundidad y lo cubre a la perfección. El material de la cubierta es suave ya que la superficie realmente impermeable es la que queda hacia abajo, tocando el colchón, así que la superficie que queda hacia arriba, hacia las sabanas, es suave y satinada sin sentirse plástica o pegajosa con el calor. El único detalle es la tela elástica de los laterales que se siente algo delgada y no de muy buena calidad, esperemos que con las lavadas no se haga muy floja. El precio es el adecuado ya que he visto otros productos similares o incluso con una sensación plástica de la cubierta, a un precio mucho mayor solo por ser de marca famosa.

I ruined my last mattress being the wine-o I am and no bedside tables. Girlfriend finally bought a new mattress after a million other spilling incidents and as a dog mom. But last straw was falling asleep with Bubbly Water in hand and soaked thru all that absorbent foam. This cover works for sure. So far classic Ashley move of spilling wine, our new mattress is also safe from more bubblys, beer, and my turmeric drink. I mean the cover is orange now, but the mattress is safe. Also, my neighbor's dog got sick and decided the bed is where he wanted to vomit in wich made my dog want to pee on the mattress to claim dominance of puke space? Mattress is still safe. Cover is easy to clean. Totally worth it. Buying a couple more as back up since we now have to change it, but it's a lot better than the entire mattress

Compre este protector porque tengo mascotas y en ocasiones suelo comer snacks en mi habitación, por eso a veces pasan accidentes por lo que creí necesario comprar un protector para colchón.Llevo 3 meses de uso, lo he lavado unas 6 veces SIN USAR SECADORA y hasta ahora no ha perdido su impermeabilidad, lo que sí es que lo he sentido un poquito más ruidoso, pero nada que un buen juego de sabanas no amortigue.Lo lavo en un ciclo delicado o con suciedad ligera, centrifugado medio y lo seco colgado a la sombra, si es un poquito tardado en días frios de secar, pero todo sea para no afectar su impermeabilidad.Se que dice que se puede usar secadora, pero la verdad prefiero no arriesgar mi compra y cuidar el producto, por eso lo seco por fuera.

Se acopla excelente a colchones muy gruesos, es ligero, fresco, no tiene capa plástica por lo que no se cuarteará. La calidad de la tela es excelente y sus costuras muy resistentes.

I replaced my old waterproof mattress pad with this one and wow, such a difference! This one is practically silent compared to the one I was using. The backing on my old one was like a thick shower curtain liner and would get bunched up. No awkward bunching with this one and it's SUPER soft to the touch. Of course I don't sleep directly on it, it's under a fitted sheet, but it keeps cat fur off of my mattress even when I'm changing my sheets and my always shedding cat decides the mattress pad is a good place to hang out. Not sure how it'd do with a puddle of water sitting on it for a long duration, but I've spilled a large gulp size of water (I missed my mouth somehow, don't judge me) and the mattress is dry underneath. I can't tell it's there when I'm sleeping on it, fits my bed perfectly and is super easy to toss into the washer and dryer to clean. I bought a full sized one for a bed I was temporarily sleeping on then got the king sized one when I went back to my king sized bed because of my awesome experience with the first one.

Si es suave, si es cómodo pero no es impermeable. Confiábamos en que si lo sería y lamentablemente tuvimos el accidente de mi niña haciendo pipí por la noche. Al revisarEl colchón el orín llegó al colchón y se manchó. Ahora hemos perdido la garantía del colchón. No lo recomiendo

I love this mattress protector! I previously had issues with most other brands, either because they made me feel too hot , made that crinkly plastic noise when you move around, or they were uncomfortable & changed the feel of the mattress, or they just were not moisture proof. This product has none of those issues. It fit my Lucid 12” king gel foam mattress like a glove. It stays put no matter how restless you sleep & there is almost no motion transfer. It feels like a soft plush sheet. It even seems to make my top sheets feel softer.I tested out how well it protects the mattress from moisture ,by pouring a small cup of water on it. There was absolutely no moisture transfer to the mattress. I have had this for a month now & after a few washes as recommended, the product comes out looking & feeling brand new. It is super soft, but very lightweight and durable. My husband & I have not slept so well in years. I highly recommend this mattress protector & I am buying them for all the mattresses in my home. It’s best to buy two per bed, to have 1 on hand when the other is being washed.

I needed a inexpensive but NICE protector to not only protect my new mattress but also protect the warrantee as in years past a had a $2k mattress go bad 3 years in and the warrantee was denied because of one 1' drink stain.This cover is waterproof on top but not on the sides and is exactly what I was looking for as I sleep hot so I need the sides to let air into my mattress. I see no reason to buy a "cool" breathable mattress to only 100% seal it in a "bag" or cover / protector that will not let air in; In a Hotel with bedbugs I can see 100% coverage perhaps, but not needed at my house as again my mattress needs air.This cover is almost as thin as a sheet. I considered the thicker quilted style mattress pad but thought I would start with this option based on price alone and glad I did.I am very happy with this product, feels just like a thin sheet, IS NOT HOT AT ALL!!! And i'm a big guy that lives on the coast in the "HOT, Humid South" so I can't have hot. Fits snug around my 10" mattress and I think would do a larger mattress with no issue but looks tight and nice like a fitted sheet on my LUCID mattress.You simply can't go wrong if you need a breathable, thin, low cost protector that will not change the "feel" of your mattress.Happy I purchased this one and at this price may just buy a new one every year but this product has a long warrantee so may be a long term inexpensive investment! I truly like this product!
