My son is a freshman at Euclid highschool he is a main bass player those things are heavy.. They only supply them with the cheaper white straps 😔 we started noticing he was sore and even bruising.. this strap is way less stressful it better for his back posture and support for sometimes the perform at parades and have to carry it for hours.. Overall good buy though I felt it was kinda expensive

Love it .. straps come crossed but uncross them and good to go .. on my 28x12 bass ..btwIf u a big guy go this one.. the cross the chest Ludwig strap is too small

Great and reliable straps for my son bass drum I purchased these straps for my son bass drum for school and when I say he loves it they help keep his drum in place and they don't slip while he's playing his drum and it's a great support for hos back I recommend because he has tried and it love and steady on his back so yes its a 10 for us

The shape is fine, straps wider than some cheaper alternatives, but I had to add some padding on the shoulders and the lower back and sides where the buckles are located. It's not that expensive to add a couple layers of neoprene. I am a designer, so was easy for me to do. Frustrating that these brands just don't make them with the proper padding. They should be forced to use them carrying the drum in a parade to see what it feels like. Would eliminate a lot of bad products in the market, if manufacturers actually had to use their own inadequate products. I will give to my school for future use, but a middle price item with adequate padding is lacking in the market.
