I tried others for my gigantic lava lamp and non-work. So I broke down And bought this more expensive brand of a lightbulb… But guess what! It’s the only one that works to propel the lava in a gigantic lava lamp. Don’t mess with the other knock offs. This is the ball you want if you have a lava lamp. Mine is the 27 inch lamp.

I have a large lava lamp in my classroom. Although this bulb fits, there is no flickering, and the brightness is great, it does not produce enough heat to allow the "lava" material to melt and rise.

It just works as a replacement for grande lava lamps. Last as long as the original bulb but different lamps are different, this one makes the lamp have a smaller range of proper running temps, but still proper temperature for grande lava lamps

I read reviews and was skeptical that it would work in my large lava light. Happily, it worked perfectly

Work great for our bearded dragon, and very comparable price. And least in my location.
