Looks kinda cheesy but its sturdy and goes a long time on a charge. The lowest setting is plenty bright and white, and I usually only need one side at a time. YMMV. If I shuffle in my seat I may have to adjust how it sits on my neck, but I'm finding it way more convenient than positioning an Ott lamp that blinds anyone else in it's path. Treat this gently and enjoy it for a long time.

Bought this to use in the car to knit at night based on the other reviews. My husband says it doesn’t seem much different to him from using the cars ceiling light. However, this shines directly on my needles so there’s no shadow, is adjustable for where it points, and doesn’t blind me if I look up when driving at night. Fortunately my husband isn’t bothered by lights in the car while driving at night! I don’t find it overly heavy on my neck, it’s more like a stiff scarf. I’ve only used it for an hour so far and the battery held up just fine. I did buy the adaptors needed to charge it in the car, just in case! Outside of the pandemic we do a lot of day trips and coming home at night has previously limited my knitting time so I wanted to make sure I was prepared.

This is a good neck light and I wouldn’t have know there were better ones than this if I didn’t order two others at the same time. I was looking for specific colors and this was the only one I could find in an aqua blue. The stems are longer on this one than the others that I got and were therefor too long for my eleven year old. They practically touched her book when she was reading. We could bend them around to shorten them by making and s or c curve, but then they bounced around because of balance issues. The light part is larger on this model than the others which is a sleeker design, the brightness was pretty much the same. This shows a clip that you can hook the two lights together with once on your neck, but ours didn’t come with one. Instead of returning this we are just keeping it with flashlights and stuff for when the power goes out as it inevitably will again.

This light is just what I was hoping it would be and then some. It has 6 light settings and it really does, because you can use just one side. I didn't understand the settings until I went to their website. There is a spotlight, a wider area, or both, which is quite bright. I wanted it to better see the stitches in the dark yarn I started crocheting with, recently. The super soft and adjustable arms are perfect for this. However, it is not a "uni-tasker." I can see it being useful for camping, but my first thought was that this would be great when grilling. I have lights on my patio, but still don't see what I'm cooking as well as I'd like. This will totally solve that issue. The fact that is rechargeable is also a big plus. It's very comfortable to have on my neck and if I were inclined to take walks at night, it would be great for that. Overall, quite satisfied!! OH....I'm sure it would be an awesome book light because you don't have to clip it on anything. Get it, you'll love it too!

We bought 2 - one for me, and one for my wife. Both of us love this and use it every day. (Mostly night!)You can light both sides, but I find that just turning one side on is enough for reading. If you're walking around needing to do some hands-free work, then lighting both sides would probably be best.We bought this 6 days ago. We fully charged it once, and we haven't needed to charge it again yet, and it doesn't show signs of dimming yet. Of course I'm sure the duration of the battery life will depend on how much you're using it each day. I personally use it about 1 hour per day. (If I have any issues after charging it, I'll come back and edit this review.)***UPDATE - I finally had to recharge it. It lasted TWENTY-NINE DAYS before it had to be recharged!!! I used it every one of those 29 days for between 45 - 90 minutes each night, and sometimes more! It performed just as I would hope - On the final day of usefulness, it finally began dimming. My point - It didn't dim noticeably at all for 28 days. Only on the last day did it start to dim, and then I recharged it after still using it for 45 minutes. After recharging, it's working totally fine.Note to users: I almost always only turned one side of the dual flashlights on to read. It's more than bright enough with just one turned on. I'm sure this helped it last for 29 days.
