It does produce UV light, yes, but I'm not sure if it's of any notable quality. The timer and intensity functions work as expected, and it does not produce any heat. It is lightweight and unobstructive.It's a nice device to light up an animal enclosure, but that's really all I can say about it.

It works well and has multiple led settings and is more compact but very useful and uvb is nice .

This product is a bait and switch. The uv leds are dim. Only 2 uv led light up in the middle. Nothing like the photographs. Do not buy from this seller or this product.

I’m impressed by the fact that this is LED. It is bright and works well. I like that there’s a timer also so I don’t have to manually shut off the light or have my son forget to turn off the lizard’s light. Works great.
