These huarache shoes are definitely the "star" of any outfit. They’re a real conversation starter — I’ve never seen anything quite like them. Made from genuine woven leather with a jute upper, they breathe well and help keep your feet cool, especially in warm weather.It does take a little time for them to mold to your feet, but once they do, they're quite comfortable. My only minor complaint is that the laces are a bit too thin for my liking; I would’ve preferred something a little sturdier. Overall, an attractive pair of shoes with lots of character!

These are very nice handmade leather Huarache shoes.The handmade weaving is beautiful. It’s obvious a lot of time went into making these.I have only ever seen them with a leather sole so the polyurethane sole is an improvement for walking long distances. The price point is spot on. This shoe is being advertised as premium and having that "hand crafted" feel, but that's not what it's like.SizeEven though the sizing is correct, it's not the length that is the problem. The shoe is very "loose" in the ankle area. Unless you have some very meaty feet, your feet will flop around.QualityThere is peeling hot glue residue all over the connection between the foot housing and sole. I fear that after a couple of times wearing these out, they willThe sole and foot housing don't seem to adhere very well together. They seem almost like they aren't meant to be part of the same shoe.ComfortThe sole is thick, but does not feel very comfortable. It doesn't cushion your feet and just feels very clunky.ColorThe coloring in the advertisements show a darker hue, giving it a nice leather and premium look. However, the coloring in actuality is much lighter and looks even washed out.

The shoes look really nice and the leather and jute design feels well made but they just are not very comfortable to wear. The sole has a big hump in the middle that puts pressure on my foot and it gets pretty uncomfortable after walking around for a little while. They seem durable and the lace up design gives a good fit but the shape of the sole just does not work for me. It is a good looking shoe if you are mostly going for style but not the best choice if you need something comfortable for all day wear.

These Mexico en la Piel huaraches caught my eye because of the woven design, figured they’d be good for summer. I got a size 10 and they fit right without feeling tight or sloppy. They’re light and breathable like you’d expect, but the sole’s a little more modern and cushy than the old school ones, which is fine by me. Took a little walking around the block to loosen them up but they already feel better after a day or two. Good mix of casual and something different without trying too hard.
