Worked perfectly for using on my odd and large diameter zoom lens to attach a NF filter for the 2024 Solar Eclipise since I couldn’t find a good ND filter that was of the correct size for the lens itself

Does the job, no complaints, threads are well cut, coating is nice and matte, even if a bit thin. Works well!

I bought this adapter for my Sony 28-135mm f/4 G OSS lens in case I needed to use any of my 82mm round filters whilst filming with my FS7 II. It works.

If you know what you are doing, these work great. I use this on a Canon RF800 with the 2x teleconverter, which effectively gives you a 1600mm telephoto lens. All my filters are 77mm which for smaller lenses I use step up rings. I didnt really want to spring for the expense of 95mm filters, (other than a UV for protection) so I figured a step-down ring should work fine at this narrow field of view.I decided to test this. For baselining, i put on a 95mm UV filter with the camera on tripod and took a light reading. Then, carefully without moving the camera assembly, added the step ring, plus another 77mm UV filter, took a light reading. Readings were almost identical. Did the same thing with and without the teleconverter (so both 800mm and 1600mm). No appreciable difference at either focal length whether with or without the step down/77mm filter. Also, absolutely no vignetting at 800mm (or 1600mm of course). I didnt expect any, but it was nice to confirm. I just picked up a Hoya Starscape light pollution filter that I am excited to try on this lens (though it will be a lot more interesting on my wider lenses).Obviously if you use this on a wider angle lens, you are going to have vignetting. I dont have any other lenses that take 95mm filters, so this wont be a problem for me.The first photo is a shot of the lens with the 95mm UV plus the step-down ring, plus the 77mm solar filter. The second picture is a compressed JPG shot of the sun in broad daylight taken with that exact setup.
