This is a really neat concept , but the execution is a bit off.When you use these you have to use the app for it, and they try pretty hard to get you to purchase their language DLC packs.Using the app is a bit clunky, and there's really specific ways you have to use the earbuds for it to work properly, so it's a bit restrictive and not as straightforward as it could be.The language translation is pretty accurate, but the delay makes it tough for practical applications. For example, I watched a movie in Japanese (for anyone interested, it was Sweet Home, the movie the NES horror RPG was based on) and the translation in my ear matched very close to the subtitles - you just have to be able to watch the movie while paying attention to the live translation on your ear, understanding that what's in your ear is happening after the full dialog has been spoken. The delay depends on how long the dialog is, and if it's a fast paced conversation it'll miss some parts.Overall it's not bad, and it's a practical way to help when traveling in a foreign country - although I'm not sure I'd want to just hand an earbud to a random person I've never met and have them put it in their ear as the instructions suggest.Execution could be a bit better, but overall great way to translate languages live in real time!Highly recommend!

I've had the good fortune to travel quite widely, and I've been doing trips to Asia lately. I've been using Google Translate but wanted something a little more on the spot. These earbuds are great. I wouldn't say the translation is instantaneous, but it does do a really good job of bridging the language gap. In order to use them you need to download an app, but I'm happy to report that is not very intrusive in terms of asking for permissions.Starwise, they look great, and I really love the sliding case cover. You can also use them for listening to music if you wish.As the product description states, there are three different modes you can use. I love that flexibility because for example with Google Translate you really are stuck with passing the phone back and forth to the person you want to communicate with. Of course there's a slight lag with the translation but it just requires explanation to the conversation partner, who will need to accommodate for the pauses.Each of those modes have its own benefits and detriments, but it's good to have options. Having the offline translation feature is a huge plus, I particularly like that one. However you should know that the language option in that mode is limited and you can opt in for a price, to have access to a broader range.In terms of accuracy, as with any other translation method, there are some glitches and slight inaccuracies. But overall this is an impressive device and I love the compact nature of it. It also comes with a neat little cleaning tool, which is a nice bonus.

Ok if person to person slow translation but not very good listening to TV or YouTube videos. Not any better than Google translate.

I got these for my mom as she recently had two Ukrainian refugee children join her class. They speak only Ukrainian and the language barrier in the class has been so difficult to work around. These earbuds are aiding their education and connection to a normal life. There is a bit of a delay in transition speed, but overall they are amazing. They work so fantastically to help the kids feel a bit more normal in a weird and new situation. The earbuds are comfortable and hold a charge for a whole day of use. I think the price is very fair for what you are getting. I highly recommend these.

This product doesn’t work as they described. If you want something to listen to music sure, but it does not. And the off-line card they give you once you download it. It will not let you use itThere were many flaws with this product. I’m in the process of ordering another one from another company. I recommend not to buy this product.
