I game a ton on my phone, and am a sucker for really great graphics. The trade off for that is that my phone get's REALLY hot. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and while Apple has definitley improved it's thermal capabilities, the phone does heat up quite a bit. I was in the market for a phone cooler and stumbled upon this one. Not only is this one cheaper than all the rest, but it's the only one I found with DETACHABLE battery packs!This cooler has 7 levels of cooling, which is really great when dealing with battery packs, because obviously running it at max power will drain the battery faster, and TEC technology is already reeeeeally inefficient with it's power draw. I like to run this cooler at level 4, it keeps my phone from getting super hot, and prolongs the battery packs by just a little bit. I'd say running it at this level gives me about 1 hour of cooling, so with two fully charged packs I've got plenty of time to game. Alternatively, I can just plug the cooler into a wall outlet with the provided USB-A to USB-C cable and run it at level 7 seemingly indefinitely! I also have a 10,000mAh battery pack I carry around and according to my calculations, at 100% I can run this cooler for 5 hours at max power! The battery percentage screen is also a really nice touch to know when you're about to run out of juice.With the two battery option, it also comes with a charger for the packs. It can be a little finicky getting the packs to charge properly though. There is a red light when it's charging and a blue light when it's fully charged. I had to wiggle the pack around slightly in order for it to stay red. Not a big deal really, as it's really nice to be able to charge the packs separately from the cooler. Additionally there are RGB lights that can't be turned off, so it'd be nice in the future if I could long press the setting button and have those turn off.Now all I need is for this to come in WHITE and I'd be in love!

I was honestly surprised at how well this cooled my phone. I initially held it in my hand, and could feel the heatsink pad on it literally get COLD to the touch within seconds. So putting it on my phone, I saw that I would not get the lag that came with it thermal throttling itself to prevent overheating. Playing games on a later model Pixel phone, it gets hot quick. But I was impressed that it kept it nice and cool, and I could game longer and harder with the cooler attached.Just like what the title says, I wish the batteries lasted longer for it. Each one lasted me about 45~ish minutes on speeds 3-4. But even still regardless, its a very nice edition to have. And it seems like the batteries could be charged while the cooler is in use on a phone. I did not attempt to do so yet, but I did charge a battery while attached to the cooler on my computer desk, al while having the other battery charging via the included charger.
