I love the Costco chickens so I broil the carcuses, throw it in a pot of unseasoned water, throw whatever veggies I have, fresh and boil me up some stock.I line a large, sturdy pitcher with one of these, plop it in the sink and pour the stock in. (If you have a motion sensor faucet, make sure you divert the spigot to a place where it can do no harm).Get a large bowel lined with a plastic grocery bag or two (check for holes first), Lift the bag carefully and plop it into the bowl. Least messy way to go about it.Then let the stock sit for a bit and decant it using a strainer lined with cheesecloth. Pour the golden liquid into a container and freeze it. (I put mine in a scrupulously clean empty almond milk box) using a funnel. Don’t fill it all the way and remember to label it so you don’t pour it on your cereal. You can wash most of the debris off the bag and stick it into the dishwasher and call it a day. To be honest, sometimes I don’t feel like washing it so I just discard it.Masterclass dismissed.

Purchased for straining fruit to make jelly. Was looking for bags to fit my big pots. These bags although well made are way to huge for this purpose. Had to return them.

I actually bought these to put over the exhaust vents on my roof to keep red wasps (and other insects) from getting in the attic space and keep them from coming into my house. Works great! Lets air in and out, keeps bugs out.
