I work construction. On the job sites, the guys will tend to break out their DeWalt boomboxes and it really goes a long way to have some music to work to. Cuts back on the stress and helps me to focus. So, naturally, this Makita miniature boom box has been pretty great. It's tough, waterproof, lite weight and the charge lasts forever as long as I'm not cranking it. Even when I do though, I still get a whole day out of it without having to swap 18v's. It's loud for such a dinky speaker and as far as sound quality goes, it honestly sounds really full. Plenty of bass frequency response, so no, it's not just a glorified 5 below blue tooth speaker. One complaint; the blue tooth signal distance is just okay. I can't get too much further than like 30-40ft away without experiencing stuttering or disconnecting. That's not necessarily uncommon for blue tooth stuff. Even the guy's DeWalt does the same thing but I will say that I have had better range on other devices before. Still, it's not that big a deal. I really like it and I'll be using it for years to come, I'm sure.

Great value for the money. My husband uses this in his prospecting and bought one for his father for coin collecting.

It's easy to take apart and clean. Very light weigh. Seems like good quality sapphire glass to me It's been in my pocket and tool boxes and in between with nothing scratching it.

Bought on a whim for a gift when I had no other ideas. wow. considering getting another to pair it. We have perhaps 6 Bluetooth speakers and this blows them away. Plenty loud unless you're trying to DJ a wedding, good bass response even at full volume jamming Missy Elliot outdoors. nice that it charges the phone its paired with while using speaker. 5 amp batteries last all evening. get it.UPDATE: 10/2024: still rocks. get it. but $150 Makita? sheesh

como aficionado a la relojería, me hacía falta una lupa que me ayudara a poder observar los detalles de pilas y algunas otras piezas de mis relojes, esta lupa es excelente, se ve muy bien solo hay que acostumbrarse a utilizarla adecuadamente sobre el rostro con ambas manos libres

El producto está bien, es de buenos materiales y se adapta bien al contorno del ojo; sin embargo, fue percepción mía, quizás, pero esperaba que tuviera más aumento. El uso principal que le daría a este lente de 20X es para detectar arañazos en cristales acrílicos y cajas, o posiblemente para ver detalles en los brazaletes. Yo lo quería para poder cambiar los brazaletes de mis relojes evitando arañarlos con la herramienta, pero no me fue muy útil porque tenía que acercarme demasiado al reloj, casi tocaba la caja con mi cara; yo no uso anteojos entonces no era una situación de mi visa en especial; quizás fue falta de pericia mía, pero al final, decidí mejor llevarlo al relojero a que hiciera él cambio del brazalete; comprobé que él tenía una lente mucho más potente y se veía más profesional que la que compré. Aun así, creo que esta lente no desmerece, y por el precio que pagas está muy bien construida y si tienes problemas de visión te puede ayudar a ver las inscripciones de la tapa trasera o los pequeños detalles en la carátula. También puede ser útil para examinar el estado de la joyería que vayas a adquirir, me parece, en ese sentido, un excelente aditamento. Espero que mi experiencia pueda ayudar a otros usuarios. Aun así, como ya mencioné es un excelente producto: llegó antes de lo esperado y venía muy bien empacado; gran servicio de envío, como siempre.

For the most part great speakers . Love the ability to link to my other xrm11’s and the new speakers in makitas xgt platform . One flaw is having to connect/reconnect after calls . Or having to constantly forget a device in Bluetooth settings. Because your phone recognizes one of the speakers from previously , but thats not the one that had been connected to . This can be easily fixed by just labeling the two speakers . Parent and child or whatever

I use this in my shop, so I plug it in to the wall. It always pairs quickly and has more than enough volume capacity. I like it.

The item is weaker than advertised, at least compared to my other magnifiers such as a jeweler loupe rated for the same power. The relief is more comfortable because of the wider lens. The viewing clarity is wider than a standard loupe at the cost of magnification.

I've had a Makita jobsite radio since shortly after the LXT battery standard was introduced. I needed something else for a new job; building SpaceX's Starship. All the radios and speakers on site were "appropriated" by other departments, and tracking them was impossible due to common tool brands across the site. I never once saw a Makita tool, though, and having my own, decided to get this speaker. It hasn't got a radio, which is GREAT, because there's F all radio stations worth listening to anymore. What it has got is USB power, a line-in, ability to run AC, LXT, or CXT, and a generous "pocket" for holding your listening device. It's easy to toss in the corner of a lift, or clip to a harness as you clamber around the rocket. It isn't so large you're kicking into it while trying to work, and its CG is low enough the chances of it getting knocked off of an elevated work platform are nil. Use is dead simple, with no manual being required for pairing and playing. I did consult the manual to explore equalizer modes and multi-unit pairing, which I don't use. The sound is just absolutely perfectly balanced, without excessive boominess, clipping, or treble raspiness.What could be improved? The ports are all highly fragile if you use them. They stick off the side of the unit. If you're using something that's charging, or using the 3.5mm port, you're probably gonna have it in the "pocket". Stick the AC power port there, too. Make it so in use, there's nothing sticking out that can get kicked off. Then it would be perfect.
