Not very durable for the price

I have a 2 year old boxer and this is his 3rd tire with rope. I looked all over for a bigger one, and finally found this one. He loves both the tire and rope, a chew toy and a tug-o-war all in one. This one is big enough to hold on to while playing with him. Well made and hours of fun for him.

our Ridgeback likes it, lasted only few weeks and has pulled the rope apart and starting to eat the rubber, so out it goes

We have a 7-month old Viszla who is proving to be an endurance/aggressive chewer. When he lays down to chew on something, his goal is not to massage his teeth and gums but to destroy the item. Plush toys last minutes and various rubber toys supposedly designed for chewers have been demolished and ingested almost as quickly. But he loves a toy he can whip around and play what I call 'Buckin' Bronco' with. So, I am constantly on the lookout for something that might last for him and thought I would give this a try. I gave this to him 3 days ago. I thought the rope would be destroyed in minutes and the tire would be 'boring' to him but he actually took to chewing on the tire instead of the rope. I would estimate he chewed on it for a couple of hours total on the first day. The photos show the damage that he did in that time-frame. However, he doesn't seem to be taking it any farther than that and he has played with it/chewed on it numerous times over three days. I will continue to monitor it to make sure he isn't taking pieces off and eating them but for now it appears he just frayed that edge and the rest of the time is gnawing on it. He also enjoys whipping it around. It's a little bit big for him, I think, but he doesn't seem to care. I hope we have a winner!

久しぶりに噛みご耐え有るオモチャです。硬い！と言われている骨型オモチャが長持ちしない我が家の様な柴ワンコでも、なかなか噛み切る事が出来ないので長持ちしそうです。ただ、新品タイヤの匂いが強いです。人間でも少し鼻につく独特の匂いなので外使いが良さそうです。
