Exactly what I needed and in perfect condition! You never realize how much you take a door handle for granted until yours breaks and you're stuck doing strange things to try to get your car door open for several weeks. It made such a difference to be allergist plug a new one in!

This was an exact match for my car. It actually went in easier than the YouTube videos showing how to install it did. It looks so good on my car, but I’m seriously considering changing out the rest of the door handles as they are red and this is black.

The back of the part has four tabs where the handle connects to the door. Three fat tabs and one skinny tab. The one skinny tab was ever so slightly too big to fit into the slot of the car door. I had to shave it down a little bit to get it to fit into the slot. After that I was able to get it into position. Maybe it was a problem with the part, maybe I wasn't doing something quite right, or maybe it was an issue with my vehicle. The important part is that eventually it worked.There are colored internal components where the door cables connect, the replacement part used different colored plastic. I don't view this as important because it is an internal component.The original part has red on the locking mechanism to show that the door is unlocked. That is not included in this replacement part. I don't view this as an important detail.The black plastic is darker than the plastic on my vehicle, but that could be because it is new, and my car is almost 20 years old. I don't view this difference as important.I was able to replace the broken door handle with a functional replacement. That is what is important.

Fit my 2005 Elantra, I just got the wrong color but it works.
