My cat is a large abscess on her neck that she was scratching open u tip it bled. I purchased this to keep her from ripping off the bandage and scratching it open while it heals. The brace is very wide and was really awkward for her. I opened the end seam, trimmed down the foam, removed the extra fabric, and sewed it up again and now it’s perfect.

Yikes! Should have paid attention to the other negative reviews. The foam insert is absurdly tall and dense, my cat couldn't turn his head wearing it.

Although the idea is good - this product needs to not only come in various lengths the width needs to also be in sizes. Another reviewer indicated that only a lynx style cat with a long neck could use this it’s too BIG! I was too lazy to return so I cut the item down to size and stitched it close to fit our cat. After that it was fine but you shouldn’t have to do a craft product to get it to work!! Nice try but flawed!!!!!!

I love it. My cat is okay with it. She isn’t thrilled but I didn’t expect her to be, but she doesn’t hate it. She doesn’t tug at it since the jersey type material is comfortable and the size is good too. Overs it does what I needed it for and it is comfortable enough that she leaves it on.

It's working well for my 25 lbs, 8 month old puppy. He needed something to keep him from scratching a wound on his neck and the dog brace was a bit uncomfortable and difficult. This one has a strong Velcro and a stretchy comfortable jersey/T-shirt type material. I'm using children's neck warmers to keep the wound clean and protect the brace from wound discharge. He aggressively tries to scratch but can not get around it, and doesn't try to take it off and has no problem playing and sleep in it.
