Irregardless a.lock was made and use to deter would be thieves but as long as someone has a master key to open it it will.be as.good as using a zip tie to lock up your bags and if not cheaper. Why? Cause no matter how you lock it up they can still open it up and give 1% BS that they need to check it further. I have once a bag packed with all clothes and only 1 bottle of parfum. After collecting my bag.it left a note saying if anything is missing please contact etc etc etc.As we had to open it and do a 'further check' But really checked? Or.take? A if you do not trust the.scanner than why use it. B if you do not trust the dogs why have it.So the bottle of parfum is dangerous?Ok. The lock is heavy and feels.solid to make you the owner feel.confident that it will.deter.thieves. But.better a lock to hold it.together. that is a better reason. On my nanuk i have 4 tsa claws 2.of these.rsa master.locks and 1 bag strap.with tsa digital.number.so lets see how long it will take to open all.up.

Excelente candado pero el tubo es muy grueso para las maletas normales. No entra en los orificios normales. Es mas como para cajas de uso rudo.

This works great. Unlike the typical TSA luggage locks, which are very thin, this lock is thicker and sturdier, and not so easily to snap or break off. This fits perfectly on my Pelican/Nanuk cases as well to secure my contents when transporting it around during my travels.
