I have a small shower in my bathroom and there's little room to move around. In my older age, I wanted something to help avoid any potential falls and broken hips. I ordered this shower mat and it's a good size for my square shower. It nearly fills the floor with a few inches leftover on each side. Since I've had it, I'm more secure with my space. It's a thick rubber woven into strips for the water release. There are suction cups across the underneath with very little chance of sliding. It's comfortable to step on, but I wouldn't classify it as soft. It's durable and will probably last for years with everyday use. I find that it's slow to dry. About once a week, I will lift it up and give it a good shake to dry thoroughly. It's still squishy when I'm done with my shower so there is a lot of water on my feet which I inevitably take to the bath mat. The suction cups aren't quick to release so it takes a little effort to pull it up. I am happy with this durable, thick, padded shower mat. It makes me feel better that slips and falls will be avoided. I only wish it didn't trap the water between the rubber rows and dried a little better on its own.

The mat is made of black rubber and very flexible considering the thickness. The multiple suction cups on the underside make it comfortable for a quick shower but not sure it would work for an extended stand due to the varying levels of rubber. There isn't a specific opening for a drain, so water drains more slowly than without the mat. I'll try to cut a hole in the center for better drainage ere go the 4 rating.

pretty comfortable shower mat. I wish I had gotten a bigger one, but that's my fault of course. For the money though, this is a pretty good deal. seems like it's easy to clean as well.

I like this item, but think the 'super soft' description is a little exaggerated. It grips well, and is a perfect fit in my one person, stand-up shower, but feels on the feet closer to a hardened rubber than 'super soft' cloth (which it looks like). I like its appearance and the fact that I ran it part way up the side wall of the shower to leave open the drain on the other end-good flexibility. Price point seems a little high, but you will definitely feel safer standing on it.

It works for its purpose of making the tub floor non slip. However its not too stable with the suction. Still debating on how to get it to stay put.
