Paso 1
Desmonte las tapas de las ruedas (si están equipadas) y una tuerca de la rueda. Si los pernos están oxidados, límpielo con un cepillo de alambre antes de instalar la tuerca de la lengüeta SplineDrive. No lubricar roscas.
Paso 2
A mano, instale la tuerca de la lengüeta McGard SplineDrive en la rueda para reemplazar la tuerca de lengüeta extraída en el paso 1. Aviso: Las pistolas de impacto de aire no se deben utilizar para la instalación de tuercas McGard SplineDrive. El uso de una pistola de impacto para la instalación puede causar un apriete excesivo, lo que resulta en dificultades de extracción y daños permanentes a la tuerca de la lengüeta y la herramienta SplineDrive. La revuelta también puede causar daños a los rotores de freno y a los asientos de ruedas.
Paso 3
Con la herramienta de instalación McGard SplineDrive y la llave de lengüeta de tamaño adecuado, apriete la tuerca SplineDrive al par especificado en el manual del propietario del vehículo. Para obtener los mejores resultados, utilice una llave dinamométrica y un enchufe para el ajuste final. Las tuercas SplineDrive deben volver a torquearse después de 25 millas (40 Km) de conducción. Repita el proceso para todas las tuercas de lengüeta restantes.

I was told by a buddy of mine how fragile these are so I figured I’d just get another one for the heck of it, just in case mine broke. It hasn’t yet broke, but I am glad I have an extra just in case because these keys are super fragile. Tested out fit perfectly, no slop, the people that state this didn’t fit simply put didn’t know what they were ordering and need to do their proper research first. Amazon said this would fit my car and it did, plus I asked my local Lexus dealer since they were out stock. Save some money! Lexus price -$25 Amazon -$10

My last one broke and I bought this as a replacement and it fits perfectly and seems a little bit higher quality then the original on that came with the lock key set. Works perfectly and very happy with my purchase

Funciona muy poco tiempo, el material deja mucho q desear, es muy maleable no aguanta mucha fuerza al apretar o aflojar

Used to install and remove the spline-drive style lug nuts as produced by McGard. Sturdy enough for what it does. Fits the McGard nuts perfectly...no surprise. One is kept in the emergency kit in the truck; this spare is for the tool kit in the garage.A few reviewers think it should be more "robust" like the keys that come with the locking nuts. The "keys" only engage the locking nuts along the keyway, so both need to be quite strong at the point of contact. This tool fits over the whole nut, so there's no issues with slippage or strength.Some reviewers seem to be unaware that the installation tool is meant to be used with hand tools only...so there's no point in making it heavier (and more costly) for no reason. If you go out and buy some expensive spline-drive nuts for your expensive alloys wheels, and then use a powered tool on them...you might want to reconsider the wisdom of working on your own car.

Material used in this splinedrive is not as good as my other socket wrench but it does the job, I don't know how long this would last.
