I have used dozens of Mean Well power supplies and related equipment for industrial control systems (all DIN rail mounted) over the past 6 years and have not had any problems at all. Everything works well and as expected and after several years of 24/7 continuous operation the equipment has demonstrated very reliable and cost effective operation. I replaced a $900 Phoenix Contact DC to DC converter with a $130 Mean Well equivalent device and my only questions is, why does the Phoenix Contact device cost literally 7 times as much? I'm an engineer with 30 years of experience and I've come to understand that many established brands are grossly overpriced and frequently their equipment isn't even that good. After years of reliable operation and saving thousands of dollars I'm very happy with Mean Well. I am also impressed with the Mean Well website where I have always been able to quickly find all the products and technical information I require, I can't say the same for most other brands I buy from Amazon. I can't comment on vendor support since I've never needed any technical support but the seller provided excellent customer service with one shipment that was damaged and after I sent photos of the damage they completely refunded my order immediately.
