I have a small container garden on my deck that I thoroughly enjoy, but sometimes a plant or two will go belly-up for some reason unbeknownst to me 🤔😣. Over-watering...under-watering? Not enough sun...too much sun?So, I'm trying to deliver to my "plant-children" what they need to thrive! This is a very useful tool that has proven highly reactive in all categories it is designed to assist in monitoring....proper soil moisture seems the most critical in my experience...(along with monitoring for plants being root-bound, and pests 👀) ... Simple to use, I try to poke it in the same hole to prevent from injuring the root system. I always wipe the soil from the probe tip and place it back in the box it came it and handle carefully to avoid damaging it. It does come with a small postage stamp sized piece of fine-grit sand paper incase mineral scale develops. The pH scale on the probe need only go from 3 to 10 as this is the range typically seen in yards and potting soils; anything more alkaline is highly unlikely and generally wouldn't support plant life very long...I mean you're not testing liquids in a laboratory for Pete's sake...so it doesn't matter nor is it necessary to have the full pH scale available 🙄😒😆.I definitely can recommend this soil monitoring probe! Got this for my wife and her beloved potted plants, and let me tell you—I've been demoted. She now consults this little gadget like it’s the Oracle of Green Thumbs. Moisture? Check. Light? Check. Nutrients? PH? It does everything but whisper encouragement to the plants (though I wouldn’t be surprised if she starts doing that herself now).The best part? No batteries required! The worst part? No batteries required. Because if you stash it in a drawer or leave it in a dark garage like I did, it basically goes into a coma. You'll have to stick it out in the sun like a lizard on a rock to bring it back to life. But once it’s charged up, it’s good to go again.All in all, this little tool is accurate, easy to use, and has officially become the MVP of our plant parenting journey. Highly recommend—just don’t let it hibernate too long in a dark corner, or it’ll ghost you.

Easy to use, no batteries to replace. Head tilts for easy reading.Arrived on time, securely packaged, and in excellent condition.

It works well. The dial is a little hard to read for me as the numbers are small and my eyesight isn't what it once was. Other than that, I'm very happy with the product.
