Ich benutze das Gerät mit der App nun seit 6 Wochen und bin zufrieden.- Für meine Bedürfnisse finde ich es praktisch nicht direkt mit dem Smartphone die Messungen durchzuführen, sondern über die kleine Box.(Smartphone Apps ohne externes Gerät sind sehr umständlich und ungenauzu bedienen, meine Meinung)Die Box an die gewünschte Stelle halten und entspannt in der App ablesen ist hiermit komfortabler und genauer!- Die App bietet 3 Modi.1. Wie auf dem Bild gezeigt, den PAR Wert bestimmen2. Zusätzlich berechnet es den DLI Wert bei Angabe der Lichtstunden automatisch in Echtzeit (Anfängertipp: Suche im Netz nach "guru LED Lampenabstand richtig einstellen", hier gibt es gute Infos zu DLI und dem Umgang)3. Man kann sich ein Netz (Grid) bis zu 6x6 einstellen und sich die Ausleuchtung mit seiner Lampe anschauen (Bild mit 4x4 und ein paar Beispielmessungen). So sieht man genau, wie sinnvoll die Lampe eingesetzt werden kann (Abstand zur Maximalfläche).- Zur App (Wird benutzt mit iPhone 7 und iOS 15.8, also alt, abwärtskompatibel)1. Telefoniert nicht nach Hause (verlangt nur die Bluetooth Berechtigung)2. Keine Werbung3. Klare Ablesemöglichkeiten ohne viel Schnörkel (siehe Bilder)4. Es können auch mehrere Geräte in der App verwaltet werden, was aber meiner Meinung nach nicht nötig ist.5. Einen Dunkelmodus gibt es nicht, stört aber auch nicht weiter- Die BoxWird mit einer AAA betriebenIst weiß mit einem silbernen Ring um den Sensor.Stabil und fühlt sich wertig an, ist wohl ein ABS GehäuseHat zwei rutschfeste Gummistreifen auf der Unterseite (Falls ihr auf einem Hang wohnt ;>, Spaß ... hat sich schon beim Halten an der Ecke bewährt)Wartet bis sie wieder verfügbar ist: Klare KaufempfehlungLet it grow!

I can't verify the numbers this unit gives, but I can say it's numbers are consistent, so it's not like it's bouncing all over the place all the time.Very lightweight, the app is easy to use. All-in-all, I'm happy with this and use it daily.

I was hesitant to try a PAR meter in this price range, but after determining I wasn't going to be able to afford the $500 one I really want this year, I picked one with good ratings that looked easy to use. And so far, it looks good. It delivers the readings I would expect on the lights I know and trust, gives me reasonable readings in natural light, and tells me that the bad lights I knew I needed to replace were even worse than I thought. As the comparative tool I needed, it seems to deliver. I'm afraid to judge accuracy without reference sources or other meters, but it looks good based on the data points I have.They're piggy-backing on an unrelated app to bluetooth connect and get readings on the phone, but it works well if you follow the instructions in the printed material (don't create an account). I have to choose the (only) paired device with a Chinese character name, but after that it's all in English. It seems to help to turn the device on before opening the app, and then waiting for the "bluetooth not connected" symbol to go away in the app if it appears.
