The range where I shoot requires all ammunition to be secured in a locked container until you are on the firing line and that includes not bring pre loaded magazines. So the options are basically limited to an ammo box or something like this. I much prefer this as it is less clunky and makes accessing ammo a bit easier. Also, you can take different types of ammo in specific amounts rather than packing whole boxes of different ammo. My only issue is the 108 capacity. Just seems a bit random given that most ammo comes in boxes of 20, 25, and 50. But that is pretty minor. I love the easy locking ability, the handle for carrying and overall quality.
