Unlike a previous purchase that almost requires a microscope this book is a readable print size.

This was just the size and level I was looking for. Since this is a 2014 edition I've completed it and am waiting for the next edition to come out.

So far I absolutely love it. There's enough space for all of my notes while solving. I cant put it down. The puzzles are the perfect amount of difficulty, challenging but solvable. My only issue is the binding of the book so I fixed that by taking it to office depot to get it spiraled for $5, I highly recommend.

I took a chance buying a book with no reviews and am happy with my purchase so far. I am posting this review after doing only one puzzle (the first one) so that if you are considering buying, you have at least one review to help.I would call the first puzzle hard to very hard and was very pleased with how it slowly revealed itself and then about 70 % in I zipped through the balance. I am a casual Sudoku fan and do them to relax and this book will keep me busy for a year or more.276 puzzles is a lot and I wasn't expecting a book so thick (almost an inch). Only 216 of the puzzles are 16 x 16 (still a lot) and the balance are an interesting selection of other puzzles to try and I'm looking forward to them.Everything else about the book was spot on! High quality paper and cover. Proper number and grid sizes and white space for notes. Pleasing design, etc.One final thought. On the back page is a note from the author saying if you liked his book, please post a positive review on Amazon. Since I am the first to post a review, then that tells me he didn't ask his family and friends to get the ball rolling which I find highly ethical and pleasing. He's proud of his work and let it stand on it's own merits regardless of how long it took. WELL HERE'S YOUR REVIEW NICK...GOOD SHOW!Adding this on 05/21/2018 after 13 months of working this book. On the front cover it says the level of these puzzles are EXTREME and they are. I would say this book is for the true Sudoku fan and not the casual fan. So far I have attempted to solve 62 of the puzzles and have successfully completed 47 of them. The puzzles I haven't completed are either a "work in progress" or I hit a wall where my techniques aren't advanced enough. I have now committed to learning more advanced techniques because I don't want to give up on my unsolved puzzles and this book has made me want to take my game to the next level. I am still THRILLED with my purchase and expect it to take a few years to complete this book.
