The product looks exactly like the way it is shown in the product review page. In terms of functions, it was easy to press or hold the crimp-terminal while inserting the wire. I wanted to cut 20-pin JTAG and create a 3 pin SWD connector. While doing that the insulation crimp worked well but the conductor crimp didn't appear to hold the wires as expected, but the connection (conductivity was 100%) worked. Hence 4 star, else I would have given 5 star.

Vienen las piezas y acceosiros indicados, sobre todo la pinza funciona bien con las terminales para los conectores

MENGSHEN Crimping Tool KitThe crimping tool kit comes in a cardboard outer box with the crimping pliers in their own box and the compartmented plastic case containing pins, pin headers, shells and ribbon cable, all inside.All of the components are standard 2.54mm Dupont spacing although the crimp pliers can be used for other types of crimp pins.The pliers are well made with a nice 2.5mm thick steel frame, well-formed crimp jaws and comfortable plastic handle grips. There is an adjustment in the travel of the handles thus altering the amount of pressure and endpoint of the jaws. All the pivot points have substantial steel pins with ‘C’ clips to hold them in place.The plastic case of connectors contains a good selection of Dupont shells from 1 up to 10 pin, 200 female and 200 male pin connectors, 40 way straight and right-angle pin header strips and a length of 10-way coloured ribbon cable.I have in the past resorted to squeezing the crimp pins onto wires using pin-nosed pliers or soldering them in place. Having the proper type of crimping pliers makes the assembly of circuits and connectors so much more reliable and faster and you know that the wire to connector contact will be as good as possible.I have used a few of the connectors and some of the wire to connect a small extension cable to one of my Raspberry Pi SBCs and some of the pin header strips on the small external circuit board. The project is only part way completed as I need to make some enclosures for all the parts to tidy them up but so far everything works as intended. Having the crimping tool kit meant that I had just about everything I needed to tackle the project.The 200 male and female pins aren’t enough to fill all the shells but they are readily available from a host of suppliers as are the plastic shells and pin headers.I will find this crimping tool kit very useful to have on standby for many of my future projects.Pricewise, considering all the components you get, the MENGSHEN crimping tool kit represents good value and I am happy to recommend it.

I like the compactness of the DuPont connectors when cobbling together circuits using Arduino and similar controllers. I use to buy packs of pre made wires, usually terminated on both ends and I would cut them in half to get 2 connections. But that always left me with a maximum wire length.Now, I can make my own terminations. This kit comes with both male and female pins, and the proper tool to crimp them on to your own wires. I’m still getting the hang of the crimping process (using YouTube videos, there were no helpful instructions included) so I haven’t been able to make full use of it yet, but I’m sure it will get easier as I do more terminations.

los conectores están excelentes, la crimpadora aplasta en lugar de crimpar, siempe hay que ajustar el crimpado con pinzas de punta después de cada operación..
