Nice finish, nice material, good price, ... Almost perfect! The show killer is that the inside of the ring is much too small! OMG! How can someone miss that? Ok, you'll be able to force the clamp to close, but just. Then, forget about trying to change the angle. You'll damage the finish of your macro after few tries. Instead of turning, remove the ring, align correctly, and force the clamp to close around again. But it's so tight! I'm a bit worry about wear appearing on my macro finish. There is rubber material inside the ring to pad it. If it was a plastic ring instead, will it help a little to slide the macro in, and change the angle with less friction, less thickness? Maybe I'll try to mod that myself. But be aware friends.iShoot, please take care of those problems and you'll have an absolute winner there! ;-)*** Update ***I decided to bend my ring to make it less just. I began with the upper part. I applied moderate force at 3 places until it fit perfectly the macro. That was the easy part. The bendable length of the base part is much shorter and stiffer. I did the same at 2 places. After several shots (and a little more strength applied), I did it! Now my iShoot D ring fit perfectly my Canon macro 100mm 2.8F L.Even if the rubber inside the ring is not the best choice of material for rotation, now I can unscrew the nob, latch still on, and rotate freely the macro without nightmares. I don't know if all the ring have the same problem? But now, I can enjoy mine and rotate it on a tripod. Oh yeah!Do it at your own risk!! But, if you do : take your time, take your time, and check after every operation.Very happy owner now! :-))What a bargain after all.
