inside of this the parts are seemingly flimsy. The way you mate each wire to post is not typical of a better quality plug. As such, its not easy to confirm you have the wire far enough into each connector and how you hold wire is a poor design. Once you get it installed, it works well, but 6awg is very difficult to bend and install.

Basics: Solid, reasonably thick, and easy to hook up.Bonuses I hadn't really considered:(1) The handle on the back is a lot more useful than I'd expected.(2) The male and female are "upsidedown" relative to one another. Thus, when you connect them, one cord is naturally to the left and the other is to the right. This makes the connection more compact AND adds at least a foot or two of useful length.One caveat: The opening for the cable was far bigger than my cable, so I needed a LOT of electrical tape to make it snug and waterproof.
