This does not fit the DJI controller. The front covers the screen and controllers as it should, however the screw locking on the back of the cover does not align with the screw holes intended for use on rear of controller.

The Sun Hood for the DJI RC 2 Controller is a game-changer! It significantly improves visibility on bright, sunny days, allowing me to see the screen clearly without glare or reflections. The hood is easy to attach and fits securely, providing excellent coverage without adding much weight or bulk. The material is durable and folds away neatly when not in use. This simple accessory makes a huge difference in outdoor flying, and I can’t imagine flying without it now. Highly recommend it for any DJI RC 2 user looking to enhance their flying experience!

Overall this is a pretty decent cover that still allows my controller to fit into the tight fitting hard case. it covers and protects well, and works decently as a light shield as well.It has 2 hand screws that go into the back (you're controller has 2 metal threaded holes in the back it goes into) and clicks securely on top between the antennas while still allowing them to fold up fully without any resistance.In fact, I think the ONLY thing about this that bothers me is that there doesn't seem to be any "lip" to which help grab onto to lift the cover when using. Makes is a bit difficult to open as it does close pretty securely. (won't simply flop open for sure)Weird thing is that it came with a tiny allen wrench however the screws that came with it are thumbscrews with no way to use that and I don't see where you'd need to at all. But..it's extra and not a complaint.

I love this for the ease of use and the protection of my drone remote. It could open just a hair more instead of 90 degrees but it is a good sun shade st that angle. And then in storage I don't have to worry about the remote on my dji stuff being damaged.
