This little PC is definitely a marvel and would be great value, if it was reliable. Within 5 months, it has now become a machine that just hits a hardlock green screen within 30 minutes of booting it up. Clean installs of Windows don’t help either. I now just force power off, reboot into Windows, then within 30 minutes, hardlock and have to do it again. It’s unusable.It does get one extra star because Minisforum overall were not difficult with a refund. They did want me to pay for the shipping back which sucked for something that was faulty within 5 months, but at least I was able to buy something else. My new Beelink SER6 has been awesome.

La mejor PC con un tamaño tan reducido, es muy rápida corre los juegos perfectamente y juegos pesados como indiana Jones lo recomiendo 10000% también al vender

Tras 3 meses de uso puedo decir que es una excelente compra. Super silenciosa, MUY poderosa y super compacta, vi varias reseñas quejándose de la conectividad WiFi, que era muy inestable y etc, no sé si habrá sido falla de lotes antiguos pero en mi caso no hay falla alguna, mi red es WiFi 6 de 5GHz a 80MHz, el router está algo lejos y aún así se mantiene siempre el enlace a 1.2Gbps (lo máximo que permite mi red) perfectamente estables 👌La verdad aunque me esfuerce en buscarle cosas negativas, no tengo nada malo que decir.

me gusto por que ahorra mucho el espacioy para juegos indy funciona al 100%, los juegos de alto rendimiento tambien corre pero en resolucion baja pero muy contento con el producto

The description for NAB9 both on Amazon and the Minisforum site stated windows 11 Pro is installed . I was disappointed is came with Windows 11 Home. I am a network engineer and needed 11 Pro. Very disappointed with Minusforum. My last minusform with AMD Ryzen 9 came preloaded with Windows 11 Pro. I will most likely return .

Es un equipo fantastico. Llevo usandolo 2 meses y medio, y esta mañana ya no encendio. Sin ningun cambio, en el mismo lugar, misma UPS de proteccion desde siempre, pero hoy simplemente el quipo no funciono mas. Llevo dando vueltas mas de 1 hora por el servicio de asistencia de Amazon, y no logro que me respondan para recibir el equipo en garantia - solo me habilitan las opciones de Devolucion que son dentro del 1mes desde recepcion del producto. Que desilucion. Terrible amazon.

Excelente producto, llegó antes de lo indicado, soy de Guadalajara Jalisco México, funciona a la perfección, puede emular juegos de nintendo switch, muy contento con mi compra!!

TLDR: The Minisforum UM790 Pro is a great little device with excellent Linux compatibility and surprisingly strong gaming chops for its price point. Recommended.I purchased the 64GB version of the UM790 Pro and I've had it for about two weeks. I've been happy with it so far.I run Kubuntu Linux on mine and I have not had any problems. Installation was a breeze with no unusual steps required. All ports seem to be working out of the box.I primarily use my UM790 Pro for web development and general productivity, and it excels at both. I switch between workspaces often and I keep multiple applications open at all times. No issues.I've tried a few games just to see how this little device handles them. It's pretty impressive for the price point. Wrath of the Righteous runs well at 1080P on medium settings and I suspect BG3 would be about the same. Older games and indie games run as smooth as you could ask for. Skull Girls runs like a dream, and I played Grim Dawn. At 2K on high. I could probably make 4K work if I wanted to spend some time optimizing the settings but, honestly, on a 27 inch monitor 2K is fine.So, is it comparable to a full tower with a 4060? No, of course not. But for it's size and price point I'm completely satisfied with the gaming performance of the UM790 Pro.I was concerned about fan noise on this machine when I bought it and I'd read mixed reviews. I'fe found it to be basically silent during normal operation and coding work. The fan does kick on during gaming and it's noticable but not excessive.The UM790 Pro offers a lot of value for the dollar and I'd recommend it to anyone in the market for a good Mini PC.

Adquirí la UM790 Pro Mini PC AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS con 32 en RAM y a un mes de haber comprado la máquina estoy muy satisfecho. Es muy compacta y trasportable, bastante rápida y sin problemas para ejecutar aplicaciones de ningún tipo. No me ha dado un solo problema. Ya venía con el ultimo firmware instalado de fábrica lo cual me ahorro complicaciones, le agregue un segundo SSD para instalar Kubuntu sin problema (preferible tener un desarmador del tamaño para mayor facilidad). Al momento de encenderla hay que presionar F7 para elegir el S.O. anda de hecho todavía más rápida en Linux que Windows, lo cual es lógico. En cuanto a la temperatura oscila entre 45° a 60° pero estoy en zona muy calurosa lo cual influye. En cuanto los juegos, en Windows con Steam he probado Mortal Kombat 11, Bayonetta, Little Nightmares, Street Fighter V entre otros y los jala como si fuera un PS o Xbox.El único aspecto negativo, por mencionar algo, fue que recién que la empecé a usar, en la primera semana se congelaba completamente, tanto en Windows como Linux y pensé que venía defectuosa, esto me ocurrió unas 3 o 4 veces en total de manera aleatoria (1 vez cada 2 días), pero se solucionó solo y esto no ha vuelto a ocurrir luego de un mes.Sin lugar a duda volvere a comprar productos de la marca y dificilmente creo volver a un PC normal.

Es un buen producto, con buena potencia, bastante manejable y transportable por su tamaño, es un poco incomodo acceder al interior y cerrarlo por los cables que conectan el ventilador al ser las conexiones muy pequeñas; este equipo lo armé con 64GB de ram y un disco duro de 2TB WD Black, con 8 gigas dedicados a los gráficos integrados desde la BIOS, por lo cual me jala todo en 1080p aunque en gráficos medios, bajos en los juegos nuevos.

We got these for the kids' first foray into gaming and online culture. Sweet sixteen and all. The setup was simple, and the product performs well under all the current gaming loads they have attempted or had interest in so far.The small compact design makes it easy for LAN parties at the local Library and we even have a few events at the local school as well. My benchmark returned the same stated specifications with about a 2-5% deviation. I would imagine that this is due to different software/loading issues. It can even run Cyberpunk2077 on high settings with ease.It is very inspiring for my kids to see how compact technology is going with the same punch my over built desktop PC has under the lid. I should note that one of my kids primarily used her Oculus Rift 2 when playing her games. The VR experience is smooth and beautiful for what it is worth.

I have purchased 3 of the NAB/NPB series MinisForum PCs and they have been great so far. If you’re looking for a mini PC that has a great amount of performance for the price and size, look no further. I already have, and these were some of the best. Let’s face it, most of the issues with these off-brand mini PCs is that they have poor thermal control, either by poor cooler or software design, and cheap peripherals/memory/storage. Some manufacturers think low fan noise is the most important design factor. Compared to reliability, I disagree. For these, thermals are well within what I’d expect from a laptop with similar specs. They idle around 40C and 15w. Peak CPU power is 90w, but thermal throttle to ~45w and stay a little under 80C under full load. This is impressive performance that many other mini PCs don’t accomplish. The CPU cooler design and installation is very thoughtful. For example, there are two sets of radiators (cooling fins) fed by significant copper heat pipes. Between the bottom cover and the cooler unit, there is some foam weatherstripping. At first I thought this was just to cover the interface between the fan and radiators to prevent air leakage and reduce vibration potential, but then realized it was largely segmenting the lower case cavity between intake and exhaust air so that hot air would be less likely to re-uptake into the fan. Very smart… Then there’s the fan itself. I noticed the blade design looked familiar. It looks very similar to the one that ASUS designed for their ROG gaming laptops that has a low turbulence coefficient and is supposed to accumulate less dust. My guess is the design was likely…appropriated somehow. But it’s a plus for this unit regardless. I have had no issues with connectivity of the ports or WiFi. I have not tried bluetooth connectivity, for lack of need. You have to keep in mind that there is limited power available for each USB port and if you intend to connect a bunch of external devices you’ll probably need a powered hub. The nice thing about these units in particular, is the number and type of ports available. One thing I wouldn’t expect to get out of these is any gaming beyond casual. With no discrete graphics adapter, it’s just not going to happen. The graphics performance you will get, is sufficient for photo and video editing with one or more UHD display, and as I suggest, casual gaming. Overall, a great buy. I think one thing hampering the rating of these models, are the other models attached to this listing. One of the models seems to have thermal problems — the UM773 Lite. I can personally vouch for the two series I listed.
