wanted this so i could mount my ipilot link remote to my Dash and it holds the remote really nicely just like i wanted also love the fact that they made it so it can fit on the dimond mount ram mount. great product

This will for and hold the I pilot remote very nicely. I put it on a ram mount and it's easy to reach

Firstly, this "cradle" is for (and ONLY for) the Minn Kota I-Pilot **LINK** remote.If you have a Minn Kota motor with I-Pilot Link, then this holder fits.If your motor does NOT have the i-Pilot **Link** option, then your remote WILL NOT fit.The remote for the motors with the Link option are rectangular.The remote for the motors withOUT the link option have rounded curvy sides.I have NO idea what the reviewer is referring to with "newer bloodthirsty version".I have a brand new 2019 Ulterra with i-Link and the remote fits perfect in this holder.
