Añade un cargador alternador a tu unidad de a bordo para un impulso adicional y una mejor duración de la batería. Los cargadores alternadores ponen cada onza de potencia a un buen uso. Mientras están en el agua, toman el exceso de potencia de su alternador y lo redistribuyen a sus baterías de arrastre. Obtienes un impulso adicional y una mejor duración de la batería. Para su uso con sistemas de 12, 24 y 36 voltios con baterías de 12 V/6 celdas que son de células inundadas/húmedas, sin mantenimiento o electrolitos hambrientos (AGM) solamente.

Easy to hook up. works ok. Charges a little slow. But does the job. For led acid batteries only.

My boat is kept in a marina with no way to plug in an AC battery charger and I needed some way to charge my trolling motor batteries without taking them out regularly to haul home and charge. The Minn Kota on board charger will charge the trolling batteries when the main motor is running but will not drain the main starter battery when using the trolling motor. The challenge was to find a place to mount it and run cables to all the batteries. It can’t be put in with the batteries because the gases produced will damage the unit over time. It is waterproof so a suitable spot was found in my boat where there is limited exposure to water/weather and I needed to buy cable extensions to reach all the battery locations which Minn Kota sells. Just need to install a 50 amp breaker within a foot of the starter battery. I spoke with a company rep before I went ahead with the install and he said it will work with the extra cable lengths. Would recommend this product.
