My daughter has been using this thermo food container once or twice a week during the school year for about a year. And, I still like it!I boil water in my electric kettle to pre-heat the container, then put in hot food in the morning. It's still hot at her lunch time at school. I hand wash it every time she uses it, using a straw cleaner brush to get into the crevices around the twist-on lid.The underside of the lid can show some color staining from tomato sauces but it seems to go away after a few uses. Even when this container gets left in my daughter's bookbag over the weekend, it comes clean and doesn't suffer from residual food smells.The outside of the container looks just like new, even after dozens and dozens of uses.

Got this to fit in the front pouch of our planetbox lunchbox and it’s a perfect fit! I pour some boiling water in to warm it up before putting whatever lunch item I’m sending with my toddler for lunch (usually mac and cheese 😂). Keeps food warm and is just perfect. Had to buy a second!

I packed my child’s soup for their school lunch. It was warm when they ate it 4 hours later. Also for reference, I did NOT put the container into an insulated lunchbox and it still kept it warm. Also the design is very nice. Recommend!

They’re absolutely adorable, but can leak if not closed tight.

I wanted to like this food container much more than I did. I bought this for my 3 year olds lunches for preschool. I currently have a 10oz thermos brand with princess design food container and this 9oz Mira purple food container.SIZE In regards to size it holds slightly less despite being about the same general size as my princess thermos. The 10oz holds a full can of chef boy r dee whereas the Mira, some goes to waste.WARMTH I have not tested it myself but when I preheat with warm water both thermos and Mira my daughter says her food warm at lunch, about 3-4 hours laterMATERIAL Like most thermos it is metal inside and plastic inside lid. The outside has a nice silicone or neoprene type feeling. Makes it easy to grip. I also dropped it when it was full and it didn’t dent or pop open or break.LEAK while I have only used a couple times and only pack can of spaghetti , it has not leaked however I had hard time screwing lid on properly. If you had thin liquid like soup it might have leaked since lid doesn’t always go on straight.CLEANING it says hand wash only which is a joke because it’s impossible to wash inside the lid. One time use and the lid was stained and the seal ring. I washed twice and even put top lip dishwasher. I’ll have to go soak and buy some pipe cleaners or bottle brush to get in the tight space of the lid.My daughter teacher also wrote a note saying they had a hard time putting the lid back on when it was empty and they almost couldn’t open it in the first place.My recommendation, buy the thermos brand instead.
