Fits well, is very cute, and protects your head and neck from the sun without looking silly. I love this hat!

I'm really pleased with my new hat. The quality is great, so I expect it to last a long time. I also love the full coverage and protection from the sun. I wore it all day on a recent hike and it never got uncomfortable. Love it!

Bought two of these for my dad, as he is often working outside needs extra protection from the sun. There is an adjustable string that goes around the base of the cap, so that you can adjust it to tighten to the appropriate size of your head (and to keep it from blowing away). There is a string that goes under your chin that can help keep your cap nearby if it DOES manage to blow off the top of your head.The brim is wide enough to help protect your face, and the longer flap in the back is useful to keep the sun off your neck. Would recommend to anyone that likes to garden or needs outdoor sun protection for other hobbies (hiking, walking, fishing, etc.).

I needed a hat to use mainly to protect my neck, face and scalp from overexposure to sunlight. Most of it's use will be for: sunning, yard work at my home, and walking the pet.I like the styling of this hat, and the choice of various colors and patterns.The central some of the hat is composed of a thin fabric, so even though I ordered the hat in black, quite a bit of sunlight gets thru it. I realized this on the first day of usage in New Jersey on a sunny afternoon at 2pm on April 28th. Foretunately, I had a small sheet of black felt that I had previously obtained from a craft store, and rectified the problem of the come by wearing the felt beneath the hat.The size L/XL that I received looks far too big on me than it actually feels after the draw string is tightened. My head has a circumference of 21 5/8". So because its oversize looks a bit ridiculous on me, I will restricted it's use to sunning in the privacy of my backyard.
