Don't let the title fool you, I gave them 5 stars because they are worth every star. However, I would definitely lean more towards calling these grilling tongs versus kitchen tongs. At least that is for the ones w/o the plastic tips. The reason for that is two-fold. First, these things have some weight to them. Generally for kitchen tongs you want something fairly lightweight. Second, these things are about 13 1/2 inches long. They are just too much tong for kitchen cooking, in my opinion.All in all, I was hoping to replace some dollar store tongs we have been abusing in the kitchen for the past few years, but I think these are destined for the grill (and I'm definitely not complaining). Still a fantastic pair of tongs.

We decided it was finally time to class up our kitchen set this year. We purchased a Misen knife recently from a friend’s recommendation and love it. These tongs were a couple dollars more than some of the basics on Amazon, but I can tell you they’re worth it. They have a professional quality to them. They are made of heavy duty brushed stainless and have a soft yet firm silicone grip. A matching pan and spoontula are next on our list.
