Filter assembly is in good quality material for an upgrade I really liked it, however the screw that come with one of them broke in the engine block , my advice is do not use the screws that comes with it, and when use the factory screw make sure you put a washer on each, because the thickness on the new assembly compared to the original is shorter by 1/32 and is enough for the screw to touch the end of the thread and not completely thigh the assembly, I which there was a review about , i run into a nightmare and luckily the screw that broke was the lowest in the block but still was way hard to reworked, may you be lucky and not have any trouble , on the car you have to remove the computers on the side of the engine without removing the intake and under the car you have to remove only the screws of the transmission water cooler to have space by moving it to the side be very careful not too pull or stress the hoses , this job should be done by someone who have car working experience and who knows what is doing, this is a level 3/5 , if you rarely have work on cars this is not a job you should be getting into. Shops wanted to charge me 1700.00 to 2000.00 dls to get the screw out and finish the job, of course I said no , but that was the screw at the bottom that broke, if it would be the one on the top of the assembly i would have end up removing the intake and run into more problems such as broken hoses and other requirements to complete it , i which the best for this new experience to all ,

Need to have lots of prior mechanical experience to attempt this if behind and under the engine - F33 makes it even harder as there is zero access from underneath due to the convertibles frame. Anyhow, no need to pull the manifold - just take out all the wiring and ECU on the right side, pull a couple hoses > access. Several long extensions, get the universal joint sockets, helps to have a fiber camera, need a digital (beeping) torque wrench. Set torque on the bolts on the exchanger before installing as a couple were just a bit loose. Prepare to cuss a lot. Took about 4 hours - less if you can get to the far bolt from underneath. Anyhow, no trouble at all and glad its metal now. Good part, screw the OEM cause its just a matter of time before you have to do it again. Get this, how could it be worse than the original?
