I haven’t done many resin projects so my review is based on a novice’s point of view. I ordered this set of Large Resin Molds by Yoiles for a specific project which I pictured. I have never seen pinecone roses (not sure their actual name) and thought they were so beautiful. Unfortunately they’re quite fragile and start to fall apart after a while. I used the mold that measures 6.1 inches long, 2.2 inches wide, and 2.1 inches high. It is the smallest one included that requires the wood frame for stability. The wood frame was easy to assemble and set around the mold and I ended up pouring three layers of resin to get my finished product. Once the resin was set the mold was very easy to remove and I didn’t need any soap or mold release. It was hard to get my ruler to show an accurate measurement but the finished product on this mold was about 5 3/4 inches long. I’m really happy with this set and love that it comes with six different sizes of rectangular molds. The three wooden frames for the larger molds are simply lightweight basswood but the one I used worked perfectly. I didn’t take off a star but I wish they had included the measurements and volume each mold holds in the package. These numbers are on one of the description’s pictures or you can determine volume by looking it up online. The current price is about $18 for the six molds which I think is a good price.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-As described. May have a minor problem. Good to great value.Four stars-As described but may have a more noticeable flaw or problem. Or, not as good as value.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product.Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else.One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.

This set came with a good variety of sizes of molds. Great for a lot of different projects. I am so happy that they included the wood slats to help sure up the sides of the molds because you will need them as the silicone is fairly thin. My project did come out very well and nice and straight on the sides though and demolded beautifully. Overall I'm super super happy with these molds. They clean up nice and I feel like they will last if treated right.

This set of 6 molds are just what I was looking for, but they are kind of flimsy. The wood supports on the larger ones seem to help them hold their shape. I used mold release when using these and my resin came right out of the molds. I'm not sure how long these will last, as they are fairly thin walled molds. I will update this review if I have any problems.

I like these, the pros outweigh the cons for me. There’s a good variety of sizes. I rinse them with water so they’re easy to clean. The big one is thin so I question it’s durability and quality but the wooden frame keeps the shape. I’m using them for resin and they work fine for me. I don’t know about the ease of use for soap making or non-resin crafts.

This is a lightweight mold. It is a soft material that allows you to pop the resin out easily. I have not had any issues with resin getting stuck in the mold. It is deep enough for making crafts with an item that is a little bulky. I used it for flowers and some decorative rocks. It is easy to clean. I have only washed it with warm water. I assume you could use soap if needed. It is very flexible but will hold its shape. There are inserts to give additional stability if needed. It seems to be made from a quality material. It is a great set that I have had great success using.
