Installation was a breeze in my 94 Haas VF4, it was set up correctly from the factory for mine (I used a regular computer power cable to plug into the extension cord in the HMI pendant), but playing in the menus you have full control over the width of the image (clock adjustment), horizontal and vertical position, and 2 more that shifted left to right in a different way. the auto set did mess it up when I accidentally pressed that, but it was easy to dial back into position.Don't forget that while this is an LCD, it is working off a signal meant for a CRT and therefore still needs all those adjustments.You also have full control over the color Via the RGB values, turn blue to zero for yellow, and turn up the red to make it more of an orange. Screen brightness is adjustable as well, 50% is max text brightness on a black background, turning it down dims the text and turning it up increases the background brightness. (both are ways to reduce eye strain)The matte display is also a big positive over the glossy CRT

Older machines have 3/16 gap. A spacer should be offered. I made one on a laser cutter made of black acrylic that looks sweet. You'll need to buy a male plug and solder to the power adapter or possibly go straight to the power that feeds the light switch.

The manufacturer could probably document the "reset" switch, which allows the monitor to find its own settings and cleans up the picture. And you'll need an ordinary computer power cable, not the one provided, but regardless, an excellent product, my second of this type, a great value and so far, so good!
