Sounds quite neutral and should blend well with a variety of speakers. They are not bass monsters but I'm using as front/side channel and they will be crossed over at 60Hz anyway. Recommended!

I am a big fan of Monoprice as they always seem to offer quality products for a fair price. These speakers are no exception. High-quality feel and weight; adjustable tweeters; relatively easy installation; great sound. There really isn’t much to complain about. When you are looking for best bang for your buck, Monoprice is hard to beat.

I used these to replace some much older, poor-quality rectangular speakers that were originally installed in the ceiling the home we bought. Since we already had a rectangular hole, we used these "in-wall" as "in-ceiling" since we only need to slightly enlarge the hole. These fit either direction between 16" on-center joists or studs as long as you're careful. For the money, all I can say is WOW. They are complete overkill for ceiling/atmos duty but are a lovely addition for certain music scenarios. I am glad I went with the 8" 3-way version--you won't be disappointed. I am looking forward to hearing them after they've had a chance to break in, but so far they are doing a reasonably good job of blending in and keeping up with the rest of my system despite being rather different and significantly cheaper. Packaging was sufficient, construction was solid. Are they the best sounding or best built speakers out there? Certainly not. But the build quality is adequate to above-average and they sound like they are going to be excellent once they are broken in. For what Monoprice is charging for these, I couldn't really be happier.

I use these as the surrounds behind the couch (I know that's not the right configuration, but it's the best I could do in this room.)They're built decently and the provided template was the perfect size. The planning to make sure they're level and even took longer than the actual install.They sound fine as the surrounds and it really adds to tv shows and movies. These are probably the best value in wall speakers with frameless grills you can buy.
