I initially had problems with my easel arriving on time but Amazon had great customer service and more than made up for the late shipping issue. I bought this so I had a handy portable easel that I could take outside and work on general drawing/painting subjects I happen to be working on or doing some plein air painting. I just took it outside the other day and I enjoyed using it. I own another table top easel but it is awkward and a bit heavier to transport outside. I really like that I can store some supplies inside the easel housing. In the future I want to purchase a pochade box but they are quite expensive so I bought this as an alternative for now. It is quite light, only about three or so pounds which is great. For the drawing I did in my photos I used a clipboard to hold my paper, which I found helpful if I'm not using an actual canvas or sketch book. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and am looking forward to a nice summer drawing and painting outside.

looks smaller than it does in the pictures. metal hardware was scratched, the base scuffed and the interior wood chipped. used item or poor quality control who knows
