Even though the listing says it will only fit 1994-1998 Mustangs, they fit perfect on my 2007 Ford Mustang.This is one of those parts that is used on multiple Mustang body styles. So, yes it will fit 2005-2010 Mustang Trunk lids perfectly.Typically the little end cap button, will break and you are left with a bare spring. I used an adjustable spanner (crescent wrench) to unscrew the old ones and screw in the new ones. Then set the spring angle so it points into the trunk to clear the trunk base receptacles. Each spring has a slight angle to it so if you don't set the spring just right you will get a "popping" noise when ever you open and close the trunk as the end cap hits against the trunk base.
