Easy to install 93 ford E350 5.8L dont know why it said it does not fit but works great no more gas smell.

Not sure why it says it won’t fit my truck (‘93 f150 5.8). It does fit, and it works great for me so far.

Amazon's filter said this was not the correct unit for a 1995 F150 5.0L Automatic truck. Cross-referencing at the Ford web site indicated that this part is the correct one.Installing this part eliminated a strong, eye-burning, stale fuel vapor smell at the front of the truck. The truck runs better off idle now too. The original unit was stuck closed. Since the part I received was a genuine Ford unit, and the first one lasted 20 years, I'm giving this five stars. It is a simple solenoid that operates at 12VDC - easy to test.
