Havent used it yet. Was worried it wasn't going to be very good based off reviews. It's half inch thick. Solid steel. Welds are a little sloppy. But not going to break off. Paint is okay. But I'm not worried about how it looks. Seems like something I'll have for many years to come. Shouldn't have any issue with even the biggest buck. Not sure what kind of weight it can actually handle. But I would wager it can take alot more than some of these others you see. Alot of people are talking about the paint. And how it rusts where the paint is gone. Who cares? You're hanging an animal on it. I would rather rust be on my deer than paint and whatever other chemicals are on it. All in all it seems really solid. I'll update when I have had a chance to actually use it. Oh, seems pretty well balanced also.
