It hangs over the music stand, even with two extra extenders, a bit so that it pulls the music out of the paper holder , but a little scotch tap on the corners helped and could still be written on the music !

Very useful if you download and print out your sheet music. The sheets are held in place by plastic tabs, so you can still mark the counts and easily write in other notation. Pages can be arranged as one page of music or in 2-page, 3-pages and 4-pages spreads.

We have had it for months. It can hold a lot of pages and the way it extends reduces so many page turns. I also like the way it clips the pages, sturdy but also makes it easy to make notes. I use it almost everyday for months and it holds well after all this time! I brought it to a recital and other people are asking for links.

The binder is quite stiff and will take some time to loosen (if it in fact does) and it is difficult to lay flat. For the price, it is of okay construction and I really wonder about the durability of this product. It did arrive promptly.

This music folder opens out to show 4 pages at once. The part that surprised me (when I got it) was that the pages are not enclosed sleeves, but have tabs at top and bottom to hold full-size sheets. The product description said “allows notations” but I hadn’t known what that meant. But to my happy surprise, it works (at least for full-size sheets), and just as the description says, it readily allows for notations.The description features a spiral binding which helps the folder lay open. However, it would have been better if the two secondary folds also had spiral hinges, instead of simply folding the plastic of the stiff cover. As they are, it takes a fair bit of work to get them to also lay flat when opened. I also expect that those two folds will be the first things to break with use.Overall it will be useful I think, and look forward to putting it through its paces.One more thing that would have been nice is a pocket inside the cover, to hold miscellaneous papers that are not the music itself …eg. performance program or notes to keep with the folder.
