Great for car

I installed my child's car seat prior to getting this and it wiggled slightly. After installing this on the no-slip mat which protects my seat and will catch any spills, it doesn't move at all. It feels even more secure. I like that the mirror is large and shouldn't shatter if I were to get into an accident. The kick mat nicely protects the back of my seat. If there was any change, it would be for this kit to include an additional kick mat for the other side. My child's car seat is in the middle and that way both sides would be protected when I am getting the car seat in and out of the vehicle. The fact that the sun screen turns white when too hot is nice, too. I'm quite happy with this purchase and the lovely features provided. My car seems much better protected now!

August 11, 2017This collection of four items is designed for people who install a child unit into a car-seat unit that’s installed into a vehicular unit such as a minivan or a kayak. There are a convex mirror, a platform for the car seat to rest on, a plate to protect the back of the front seat from kicks, and a roll-up sunshade.The mirror is the best of the four for me as the driver of said child unit in said car seat, because she is only five weeks old, which means she must inhabit a backward-facing car seat for another 99 weeks or so. I like being able to see her face and what she’s up to by either turning right and looking back or looking obliquely through my rear-view mirror. You know how your right outside rear-view mirror is slightly convex to let you see more than a flat mirror would? The mirror that comes with the product under review is also convex. It’s padded, and it’s said to be shatterproof.The hinged platform that’s designed to go against the seat and seat back does indeed help protect the fabric or leather or aluminum or whatever your seats are made of from wear damage caused by the car seat, and it does indeed make clean-up easier when my little decides to expectorate a little pukeums overboard.My little is not big enough to kick the back of the seat in front of her, and at the moment she faces backwards anyway, but I imagine the plate designed to prevent damage to the back of that very front seat would work well. Ask me again in a couple years, by which time I hope to have trained her not to kick stuff anyway.I don’t know how well the sunshade works because I don’t need to use it because the location where I install my child unit’s car seat is already protected from the sun except just after dawn and just before dusk, which are times when the sun is passing through so much atmosphere that I’m not worried about excessive UVA and UVB and rays anyway.This collection of these exact four items might be perfect for some people, but for me it’s cheaper to buy the mirror and the hinged platform separately and forgo the kick guard and sunshade, which is why I award only three stars.For those of my few frequent readers who expect a little more testing, I can attest that if you shoot the mirror from ten yards away with a .22 caliber Marlin rifle, it will succumb (but not shatter). Every time.I can also attest that my pals on the ISS (Hi, Fyodor and Peggy) do not use this product’s sunshade or any other.

Great bundle! I wish I'd had the car seat protector before my son spilled his entire cup of water down in the seat. I know it will be great for potty training in a few months. The seat back protector is awesome as well - my little one cannot keep his feet off the seat back and it's constantly dirty. The window shades were easy to apply and the boys already say they love them. No more sun in our eyes! And keeps the car cooler too, which is an added bonus.

Fantastic set to protect your car and your baby! The seat cover fits nicely under the car seat and doesn't slide when the car seat is installed on top of it. The kick mat fits perfectly on the back of the front seat and I am so thankful to have that later of protection between little dirty feet and my leather seat! The window shades are huge and almost fill my whole window, protecting my daughter from the bright sun. The shade is difficult to get absolutely no wrinkles in but over all goes on nicely (make sure to follow the directions). I love that they have a white hot sensor that tells you when the inside of the car is hot. It is so important to keep your babies safe in a hot car! This is definitely my favorite feature of this bundle.
