I ordered a Myers Pickup for my upright string bass to help amplify the sound. The pickup differs from many others because it uses a small microphone to transmit soundwaves rather than adhering to the wall of the instrument. The quality of the sound produced by the Myers pickup is pure and not muddled.I had a few questions I sent on to Myers and the email response time was rapid from Mr. Myers.I highly recommend Myers Pickups quality of performance and the responsiveness Myers to answer questions and clarify issues.

I had been looking for a way to amplify my string bass. Stand alone microphones did not give me the desired amplification. I had tried a bridge mount pickup and it would pick up unwanted sounds (crackle) if you moved around too much. The Myers pickup did the trick. This pickup picks up the natural sound of the string bass without extra unwanted noises or feed back. I had a couple questions and Greg Myers was lightning fast in response. The customer service is top notch. I will be a return customer.
