Excellent bed. Nice to able to control the height, i have installed legs on mine and it provides good height to bags underneath. Sturdy and easy to put it together. Good price compared to others and its good quality.

Arrived broken. Received my cot today. One of the D rings to which you attach the leg support was broken. I noticed that these are made of plastic and with all the pressure under which they are used really should be metal. ——- update. The broken D ring did not affect use of the cot at all. Actually, the cot is very comfortable and I look forward to using it. Based on my review I was contacted by customer service and they offered to send me a new cot. I declined the new cot as it worked fine with the broken D ring. I am updating my review to four stars based on customer service actions.

Perfect dimensions for truck camping under my Softopper, this gets you off the ground / bed while minimizing overall height. No cross poles on the ends is a key feature: your head / feet don’t bump into metal. 25” width is good enough for side sleeping, and the length is fine for my 6’ height. The trick to setting this up is once the long poles on each side are in, put the cot on its side so it’s propped up vertically lengthwise , clip one end of the cross-leg into the pole that’s along the ground, then while holding the cot vertical with one hand, lock your other arm, and lean directly over each cross brace using your weight to bend it just enough so its other clip seats into the pole. lock your arm, use your weight, and they go right in. It actually takes longer to thread the poles through the sleeve and assemble the crosspieces than it does to install them. I would say 5 minutes at most to assemble. Disassembly is the exact reverse - use your weight to flex the crosspieces so you can unseat them. each crosspiece has its own velcro wrap to keep them bundled. and there is a bag for everything. I have the King Camp cot pad which fits perfectly and adds cushiony padding without any height increase, since your body weight stretches the cot material slightly downwards. Look for lower prices across various colors, and the “used-like new” option. I did that and got a brand new clearly unused one still in its factory wrapper with tags in place for $53.00. Definitely recommend.

I do a lot of wilderness trips and camp in the bush as often as possible. I have wanted a lightweight cot for some time but haven't been able to justify the absurd prices typically required. On a lark I decided to see if there was a knockoff version available and found this cot for a wilderness trip in northern Idaho. When I am out in the bush (in temperate weather) I usually prefer to use a camping hammock, but there weren't any trees where I was going, so this was the alternative that I chose. It seems the older I get, the less I want to be uncomfortable! When it comes to sleeping arrangements, I really do have no problem spending more to ensure that I have the best night of sleep possible. The thing is that when it comes to lightweight backpacking/camping equipment it seems like the sky is the limit for prices. When I bought this cot I had low expectations, but it managed to perform far better than expected or even hoped. On this particular trip we were whitewater kayaking down the Salmon River and space was at a premium. I use this cot and a thin inflatable mat, and slept great! I could have simply taken a thicker mat which would have taken a little longer to inflate, but having a cot gives me additional options for other trips. It sets up quickly and easily, and when not in use it folds down relatively small. If it gets wet, it dries quickly and I didn't have any problems getting the sand off of it.Bottom line: It is easy to set up, works great, and I expect to get many uses out of it. It isn't quite as small or lightweight as the higher end options out there, but the price versus value is hard to beat. If you have a situation where you need the absolute highest quality gear this might not quite be right, but for almost every other use case I am really pleased that I got this cot and look forward to using it for a long time to come!

It’s comfy it’s easy to use, it’s good looking. The only problem that it’s kinda cheap. Anytime I’d turn the legs would pop off and I’d flop onto the ground. I think I’ll end up getting a nicer brand, but this does work very well for the price and is a good deal for the casual camper.EDIT: I received an email from the company offering me a replacement or a full refund. I didn’t want either and would like to clarify that the legs aren’t broken from me sleeping on it. It’s that they came detached if I tossed and turned too much. All I had to do was simple reassemble it and try to sleep very still lol. It’s a great little cot for the price, I bought this one specifically because it was the cheapest option. It’s good quality, the legs just need to lock on better.
