Works exactly as expected and gives me the subtle blooming I was looking for. In the past I’ve also used K&F and I feel the results are pretty much the same.

I bought both 1/4 and 1/8 from Neewer to compare and I found the 1/4 to be far too overblown as far as the look you might want from a black diffusion filter. Highlights bloomed too much and it became far too gimmicky looking. At 1/8 though it's a much better balance, direct light will still cause some crazy hazing but for most situations it's perfect, especially if you photograph people as it's great for skin/blemishes, or if you're looking to somewhat replicate how film handles highlights.Comparison photo I took are all RAW and straight out of the camera, I did find the filter added some warmth too.

Purchased the 1/8 filter and have been really happy with the results so far. Perfect for golden hour, or capturing the city lights at night.

日中のポートレート撮影でこのフィルターを試しましたが、1/8の効果は比較的控えめです。だけど、人肌の表現が少し柔らかくなり、肌のトーンを滑らかになりました。日中の自然光では1/8じゃ派手な拡散効果は期待できないです。1/4くらいがいいと思います。夜の撮影では、フィルターの効果が際立ちます。電飾や車のライトが拡散され、柔らかい光の効果が生まれ、美しいボケを生み出しました。1/8の設定は、派手すぎず、自然な光をキャプチャできるため、やはりディフュージョンフィルターは夜間に向いていると思います。使用環境:FUJIFILMのX-T5カメラとSigmaの23mm Xマウントレンズを使用して撮影しました。
